2007 – 2008 m. Edita studied at University of Law and Health (Lille 2), France.
 
2011 m. Edita was a trainee at the European Commission (DG Employment, Social affairs and Inclusion), where she was actively involved in the work of the unit of External Relations, Neighbourhood Policy, Enlargement, IPA. She contributed in the following fields: the collaboration of EU and ILO (International Labour Organisation) on issues of the social policy, the analysis and research of labour law standards in the third countries for the social part of FTAs (Free Trade Agreements), the research on CSR policy at the EU level. In addition, Edita has experience in performing conformity assessment and codification.
