Study „Impact of Lithuania’s integration into EU on Lithuania’s skilled public sector workers’ leaving for working in foreign countries“

The aim of the project is detailed analytic study estimating what impact Lithuania’s integration into EU has on Lithuania’s skilled public sector workers’ leaving for foreign countries.

It has been discovered during the research what impact integration into EU has on high-skilled public sector workers’ emigration and in which sector the impact of integration into EU on workers’ emigration is the most significant. It is also being sought to indicate which specific reasons for emigration are the most important in each of the analized public sectors (social security, education and public management) and which measures should be taken in order to hold public sector workers taken into consideration limited resources.
